Are you hiring?

Not at this time. As we grow our business or current staff leave, we hire new staff and announce openings. Please don’t bring any resumes in person. Angie has a lot on her plate, plus a terrible memory, and will lose your resume.

Do you have any Gluten Free, Dairy-Free, or Vegan?

Our menu is limited due to the small size of our micro-bakery, but we have gluten free and dairy free options each day. Please note that we are not a gluten-free or dairy-free facility and cross contamination can happen, and we are not liable for adverse reactions you may experience. We’re not currently offering vegan.

Do you do cakes?

We do not offer custom cakes but occasionally have cake by the slice in the bakery. We’re not fancy with decorating and would probably ruin your special day if you let us make you a custom cake!

Can I buy wholesale?

No. We’re a microbakery with very limited equipment. We’re unable to keep up with our own demand and are unable to offer wholesale. However, you may make a pre-order at full purchase price.

Can I make a reservation?

We allow reservation requests on a limited basis. Please visit our reservation page to make your request. Outside of that, we are a first-come, first-served bakery. Please don’t show up for your reservation unless it’s been confirmed by us.

Do you have a phone number?

No. We’re very busy while here and it’s too distracting and disruptive to answer calls.

Can I get a discount if I buy a lot?

No. We’re a small business with big bills. We may consider discounts in the future after we are fully established and profitable.

Do you have savory options or meals?

We are a small micro-bakery with a very small kitchen that has limited capabilities. We prioritize our baked pastries first but do offer a very limited monthly menu of savory options. This menu is theme based on the month and available here on our site for you to view before visiting.

Can I bring my pet inside?

No. We kindly ask that you not bring any pets inside unless they are a service animal trained specifically for your disability. Comfort and/or emotional support animals are not service animals and not recognized by the ADA. We absolutely love furbabies, but our kitchen is public-facing and the risk of pet hair getting into our products is too high.

We have reached our maximum donation budget for this year. Please try again next year.

Does the plant wall attract pests?

Yes, it can. Most houseplants and gardens do, but we contract with a local pest control service to reduce exterior pest issues, and we also inspect the plant wall bi-weekly. You may see an ant in here. Please be understanding that the ant issue is much larger than the bakery can control. Ant colonies are widespread throughout Kitsap and our fellow business owners are also dealing with them the best they can.

Do you use any box mixes?

Yes, we do for some recipes. Some of our gluten-free items are pre-mixed. We also love the Ghirardelli brand and use their brownie mixes. Our puff pastry comes from a restaurant supply store, too.

How come some sandwiches or pastries are bigger than others?

We scratch make most items at the bakery. Though we try to be as consistent as possible, some things bake bigger or smaller at times.

I didn’t like what I ordered, what are my options?

We ask that you let us know in the moment so we have the opportunity to make it right for you, whether it be a refund or replacement. We’re a brand-new small business and we make mistakes, but not giving us an opportunity to fix it before you write bad reviews isn’t fair to us either. We need time to adjust to the overwhelming amount of customers we’ve attracted, and grace to be humans who mess up sometimes. Your reviews can cause significant harm to any business, but especially a small one without all the resources big corporations have.

When I feel inconvenienced, can I be rude to your staff?

No, you may not. Please be kind. There’s nothing in the bakery worth being mean about. Please do not be mean to our staff. Some of our staff are just kids and this is their first job. Please be considerate of the impact you leave on others.
